Large dished heads on trestles in the CEACSA workshop, with a fitter and the overhead crane

Montmeló · since 1904

Heads, shells and cones for people who build vessels and boilers.

CEACSA makes prefabricated boilermaking parts in carbon and stainless steel, and follows them with rolling, cutting, welding and heat treatment.

A boilermaking shop, not a generic catalogue.

The company, formerly E. Canals, S.A., has practised the same trade since 1904. It is now the fourth generation. The workshop is in Montmeló, with direct access and more than 6,000 m² of bays, 15 metres high.

Eleven 10-tonne overhead cranes move heads, shells and assemblies. The machines include plate rolls, presses, flanging machines, a section bender, press brakes, welding columns, a CNC cutting table, a furnace, a polishing machine, an acid bath and a passivation area.
